Hillcrest Early Years is a charitable organisation first established in 1979. It is run by a voluntary Management Committee, which meets regularly to discuss group issues. Parents and carers can become members of the committee when their children start at pre-school and we hope that you can be actively involved, by attending meetings or contributing to the running of pre-school. Ann Field – Supervisor in charge, Safeguarding Officer, Fire and Safety Officer, Student Mentor, First Aid Officer, Food Hygiene.
Richard Morley- Supervisor, First Aid officer, Health and Safety officer, Race Discrimination Officer, Early Language Lead Practitioner, Food Hygiene.
Rachel Bilton – Supervisor, Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO), Behaviour Management Officer, Looked After Children’s Officer, First Aid officer, Food Hygiene.
There is also cover staff, provided by Kath Kotas.
Ann Field, Rachel Bilton and Richard Morley are all NVQ level 3 qualified.
First aid training and Health Hygiene are renewed every three years. Child Protection training is also carried out for all new staff. All staff are police checked and suitable for the job. Staff constantly attend relevant training courses to update their profiles.
